What we collect
- Your name and email address — so you can sign in and so your work is saved to you.
- Your year level, subjects and target grades — so questions, planning and feedback match where you actually are.
- Your quiz scores, mastery data, streaks and XP — so your progress, weak areas and study plan can be calculated.
- Your Teach ACE transcripts, Ask ACE conversations and essay drafts you paste in — so the AI can give feedback and so you can revisit your own sessions later.
- Files you upload (notes, textbook chapters) — used only to generate your summary sheets and flashcards.
Who can see it
- You — all of your own data, at any time, inside the app.
- ACE MYP administrators (members of the student team) — needed to run the platform, investigate problems and moderate submitted tips.
- Other students — only your display name and progress stats, and only if you switch on the leaderboard yourself. It is off by default.
- Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored on the Base44 platform, which hosts and secures the app's database. AI features send your text to third-party AI model providers to generate a response. Do not paste anything into an AI feature that you would not be comfortable being processed by an external provider — including personal details about yourself or other people.
How long we keep it
Your account data is kept while your account exists. Study records are kept so your progress and streaks stay meaningful across years. If you delete your account, your records are deleted with it.
Your rights
- You can see everything the platform holds about you from your Settings page.
- You can reset your progress data at any time from Settings.
- You can request a copy of your data, or request full deletion of your account and records, by contacting the team.
- You can switch off the leaderboard, gamification and AI features individually in Settings without losing access to the study tools.
Analytics
We record anonymous, aggregate usage patterns — which pages get used, where students get stuck, how often an AI feature fails — so the team knows what to fix. These are counts and patterns, not surveillance of an individual student's behaviour.
Contact
For any data question — access, correction or deletion — contact The Change-Seekers team through the Send feedback button in the sidebar, or speak to any member of the team at Tema International School. We will respond and act on data requests directly.
